Skye Moench joins the deboer Team!
deboer wetsuits is proud to announce its partnership with Skye Moench. In 2019 Moench staked her claim as one of the top long course triathletes in the world when she won the Ironman European Championship in Frankfurt, and followed that up with a win at Ironman 70.3 Boulder five weeks later. A bike crash kept Moench from competing in Kona in 2019, but you would be foolish to overlook her on the Big Island in 2021. deboer wetsuits is very excited that Moench has chosen to swim in the deboer Fjord 1.0 and Flōh 1.0 wetsuits, and Tsunami 1.0 speedsuit.

“What drives the deboer brand also drives me: believing we all have untapped potential which we are capable of capturing as we work to realize our dreams. This drive is reflected in the deboer products. After trying the Fjord 1.0 for the first time, I knew it was the wetsuit I wanted to race in; it was the best and most comfortable I have ever felt swimming in a wetsuit. The Fjord 1.0 has absolutely no shoulder restriction, so I know I will be swimming to the very best of my ability on race day.”
Alex de Boer, co-founder of deboer
“We are thrilled to have Skye Moench join the deboer team. Skye is an athlete we think will get a lot of people’s attention in 2021. In speaking to Skye one of the things that stood out was her desire to get the best from herself – Skye actively seeks competitive start lists to push her limits. We are looking forward to working with Skye, incorporating her feedback into new iterations of our wetsuits, and playing a small part in helping her be the best athlete she can be.”
As one of the premier females in long course triathlon, deboer wetsuits is delighted that Skye Moench has chosen to join the deboer Team.
