Skye Moench is the 2021 IRONMAN Chattanooga Champion, and set a new American record of 8:34:07.

Just 1 week removed from finishing 6th at the IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship in St. George on a punishing course, Skye was back at it, this time over the IRONMAN distance in Chattanooga.

On a day where Skye was not pushed by her competitors, she put together an incredible solo race, combining a 44:33 swim, 4:44:03 bike, and a 3:01:11 run to take the crown in 8:34:07, and breaking the old American record by over 5-minutes.  Skye finished over 26-minutes ahead of her closest competitor, showcasing what an incredible performance she put on.
